Bushnell has engineered the Digital Stealthview 5x42 which has a Supercharged Infrared Monocular to create images with resolution that rivals costly Generation 2 optics. Using a powerful infrared spotlight that produces sharp images during pitch darkness, the Stealthview monocular is suited for any wide number of applications including security and surveillance, camping, night fishing, navigation, and wildlife observation.
This infrared technology works by providing a light source to the Stealthview system to amplify and collect with an objective lens. The light is then processed using an image sensor and transferred for an in-view black-and-white micro-display, which features CMOS technology for superior LCD resolution. The resulting digital image can then be transmitted to video camcorders, laptops, and tv screens via a video output port.

Designed to use inside a selection of terrains, the lightweight Stealthview monocular features a weather resistant, ergonomically shaped body as well as an adjustable eyepiece for added comfort during prolonged use. The Stealthview monocular runs using six AA batteries and offers approximately 2 hours of continuous run time with all the infrared spotlight on and up to four hours of runtime without the infrared spotlight. Built to last, the Stealthview Monocular has a two year limited warranty from Bushnell.
